Lunch at BISB
Lunch at BISB consists of soup, a main meal, fruit, and salad. We also offer morning and afternoon snacks for children in the nursery and reception.
Little Chef canteen is using the web portal Biometric for choosing and canceling lunches. After we receive your lunch application, we will provide you with login details to our lunch system, where you can manage your lunch and snack orders.
Choosing is possible for the age group Year 2 and above. Nursery, Reception, and Year 1 have automatically preordered meal number 1 on the menu.

How to Sign Children Up for Lunch

- Fill in the registration form.
Your registration will be confirmed upon completion of the form. Invoice and payment details will be sent to the email address you provide.
How to Select or Cancel Lunch
- Use the Biometric system to cancel or modify lunch orders.
- You must cancel or change the menu by 12:00 noon on the working day before the lunch is served.
- Example: To cancel Monday’s lunch, the change must be made by noon on Friday.
Important Notes
- You will be billed for any lunch not canceled before the deadline.
- If no menu option is selected, Menu 1 will be automatically assigned.
How to sign children up for lunch

How to select the menu and cancel the lunch- You can cancel lunch via the lunch system Biometric.
- You can only cancel the lunch or change the selected menu ahead, at the latest by 12:00 noon of the previous working day than the lunch is served (for example, you can only cancel or change Monday’s lunch by 12:00 noon on Friday of the previous week.)
- You will be billed for the lunch unless it is canceled before the deadline,
- Your child will be automatically given the preordered MENU 1 unless you select another MENU or cancel the lunch.

Parents pay for the lunches at the beginning of each term. The Little Chef team will issue an invoice for a number of days related to the term.
For example: Term 1 will have 70 days – an invoice will be issued for 70 lunches. If your child will only eat 40 lunches out of prepaid 70, the remaining money will be deducted from your invoice for the next term. If you decide that you don’t want to continue with lunches, it will be sent to your bank account.
Lunch subsidies
The lunch subsidies are available only if you apply via school. The subsidy amount represents lunches taken during the school term. Please note that the subsidy is only for lunches taken, not lunches that will be ordered and uneaten. The subsidies will always be deducted from the invoice at the end of each school term because the reimbursement is done retrospectively. This subsidy is mirroring the Slovak system as follows:
1, 40€ Reception
2, 10€ Students in Year 1 – Year 4
2, 30€ Student in Year 5 – Year 9
The condition that needs to be met is that the child participated in education and had lunch on that day at school (e.g. if a child is absent – this day cannot be counted in).
